Brian WIlson posted this tonight while tweeting “Surgery was perfect. Borrowed ligament from my ol’ pal Sasquatch.”

I’m going to guess this is the product of a morphine drip.

I’m honestly not sure if last night’s game actually happened or was a fever dream. Kyle Lohse flirted with a no-hitterand then this? I’m saying fever dream.

The Promised Pujols Cartoon

636benjamin:

derrickgoold:

Last month, a friend asked me to draw a cartoon for a St. Louis baseball historical journal that will be published a few times this year. It has been more than a decade since I drew a cartoon for print. I’ve done a few for family as gifts, several for my son, but not one for the public since leaving college (that I can remember). I dusted off the pens and came up with this look at Albert Pujols’ departure from St. Louis, “The Perfect Knights of the Round Table.”

That is awesome. Sums it up perfectly.

Paint the town • Curtis Berry walks home earlier today, past a mural at the intersection of North 14th and Warren streets in St. Louis. The fleur-de-lis mural was painted by artist Dexter Silvers with a border by Elysia King. Lucas Rouggly, from LOVEtheLOU, organized the project with the help of the Poor Souls Society Art Gallery. This intersection mural is the first of seven the group has planned, leading from Old North St. Louis to the loft district downtown. The next mural will be painted in March. We might just have to drive to north city to see this.
